The Goldstars with Matthew Clay - April 2006
COMMONWEALTH gold medallist Matt Clay was given a hero's welcome by an entire town on Wednesday night. Chard residents, members of Chard and District Swimming Club and dignitaries turned out in force to welcome the champion swimmer back home. Town Mayor John Malcolm presented Matt with a citation and performances were given by Chard Concert Brass and Chard Goldstar Majorettes.
